Hey, all! I'm slowly sorting through that collection, deciding what to keep and what to re-home. Up first here are the churchwardens. For length I measured from the very tip of the stem to the far edge of the bowl - that seemed the most sensible to me. Chamber measurements are not exact, but as close as I could manage with my clunky tools. Prices include priority shipping w/ tracking. John Inge Freehand Churchwarden (Purple Horn)

Asking: $50

This is an interesting freehand paneled horn with a purple stain that does not entirely come across in the photos.

John Inge Freehand Churchwarden (Green Chimney)

Asking: $50

This is a green finished "chimney" sort of shape with a nice bit of grain fanning back from the front center of the bowl. The finish has faded to brown a bit, much like the green stained Petersons do after a time.

Tony that John Inge Freehand Churchwarden is absolutely gorgeous. If I weren't waiting for my disability to be approve it would be gone. Someone is going to be lucky with getting that.

I do very much want it. Inge makes very good pipes--the one I have of his smokes gloriously. And oddball Churchwardens are very much my thing. I'm still hoping the OP knows whether John is still selling somewhere--I can't afford a trip to Pennsylvania to find out, and he wasn't selling online when I bought one--he was working in a cobbler's shop and had his pipes on display there.

Hey, do you still have any of these? I bought a pipe from John before he moved to the East Coast, and haven't been able to find his info to buy more. The first pipe in particular is amazing.

Also, do you happen to know how to get ahold of him, or if he's selling online somewhere?

Unfortunately I have no idea as to the state of Mr. Inge. I acquired the collection of somebody who was taking a leave of absence from pipe smoking and he had... four I think. I've put the two churchwardens up (and thus far they are indeed still available) and I have one or two other "regular" size pipes that I do not yet have pictures of.

As a side, I think the fellow in question is taking a leave from the forum as well (even though he'd expressed his intent to stick around), but I will at least try and see if he might have more information about John.
