Here are a few that I carved from blocks I got from ebay and Tinsky etc.

A few rusticated ones:

Some nice shapes you have there :) !! Did you drill the chambers and all yourself, or are they they pre-drilled blocks?

Steve you have improved greatly! I expected to see a bunch of Apples. Is the Apple still your preferred shape?

These were predrilled blocks. some came from Tinsky, some from Ebay and some from Tinderbox.

Thanks Bob. I have broadened my scope a bit. Still like the classic shapes the most. Apple is up there, but so is Dublin and Billiard

That first smooth you posted...the...um...longish-shanked dull pick-axe meets billiard...is wild; I'm actually working with a carver on a similar shape to comission the birth of my second in July.

Steve:

I really like that slightly bent Apple. Handsome pipe, considerable briar with girth in all the right places probably smokes cool and classic shape.

Dang Steve.
What are you up to? Reaching for Renaissance Man status or something?
You travel to exotic ports, pipe refurbisher extraordinaire, write really good short stories and you carve pipes as well!?

I love this stuff I really do (-:

Inspiring!

I hope that it's ok and that Steve doesn't mind if I add a pipe to the bunch that he has made. Steve made and surprised me with this wonderful Volcano (One of my favorite shapes) a few years ago. I love the pipe and it smokes great. Also shows the variety of shapes and also the skill that Steve possesses.

You know you are going to have to do a series on how to carve pipes now, don't you.
