So happy to hear him so eloquently describe the joy of inhaling. I'm not abnormal...thank God.

If I was not already a pipe smoker, I most certainly would be, buying myself a pipe and some tobacco and of course Swan Vesta matches after listening to this mesmerizing video.
I was reassured that I am not alone in my habits after hearing him say " filling my lungs ", as I inhale the intoxicating flavours of my tobacco.
As a woman, I can say that this gentlemen's accent/voice is seductive and his punctuating at precise moments were as if he had written this himself.
Thank You for posting this, Ian.

What a great find Ian. I enjoyed that thoroughly. I love the well written turns of phrase and the well read presentation of the same. Very, very nice.

Good to see this again. Bruno and Mike are old YouTube friends of mine. Bruno has migrated to Facebook, but Mike Flieger will not go near that site.

If you look up Flieger's old videos, you will see he made a series on making a pipe. I always encouraged him to take this up professionally, as he turned out some beauties considering the basic tooling he had, but he did not take his hobby any further. Because he lives in North Sweden and only smokes outside, it limits his pipe smoking to about 3 months of the year

I recently read of a new young pipe maker called Andreas Benwick, who sells through the Danish Pipe Shop. He makes beautiful classic shaped pipes. He said that he was inspired to start making pipes through watching Flieger's videos. A real Kudos to Mike for exposing more new talent to the pipe making world.

I have tried to get Andreas to supply me for the new site, but he is still part-time and not producing enough pipes yet for both the DPS and me. I hope to capture this raw talent before too long.

Bruno certainly has a way with words. I could listen to his vids all day and never tire of them.

Great video. I recognized Bertrand Russell, Edward VIII, and Orson Welles, and of course Stephen Fry!
