Since I've seen this question asked several times, I think it would be wise to post the answer :) !
There are 2 ways that you can post images to the forum. One is directly uploading the file from your PC, this will create a "thumbnail" in your post that users can click on and enlarge bit.
Second method is a URL from a website.
When you click on the "Insert Image" icon:

After you click on the icon, the below box will open, select "From URL", cut and paste your image URL (note there is a max of four images per post), and uncheck the "Retrieve remote file and reference locally" check box. Be warned, if you have a large image, it will show up in the post large as well. :)
