    FS/FT: Various HU Tobaccos

    Good morning guys,
I have 1 tin of Fayyum Blend and 1 of Fayyum Kake; as well as 2 tins of Director's Cut.
Both Fayyum are dated Oct 14; and the Director's Cut, Sep 16 and Jan 17.
They are all factory sealed (paint cans), 100g tins.
I would prefer a trade but am open to selling them (payment via PayPal). I would also prefer to trade the lot to reduce my shipping costs (shipping costs assumed by each party).
If you are trading, I am open to suggestions as long as you have some Virginia/perique or good burleys, and they are round tins and still factory sealed.
I am asking for the equivalent in weight, so 400gr.
If you want to purchase, I am asking $25 (US) for each Director's Cut, and $ 30 for each Fayyums; plus shipping ($15 with tracking number for the lot).
I could accept a breakdown into 2 lots if purchasing. I'm afraid the shipping costs, from experience, would remain similar than if purchasing the lot (say thanks to Canada Post...)
    PM me if interested.

I can't understand Canada post rates. I mailed 2 packages containing 4 oz of tobacco. One to a PSU member in London, Ontario about 230 km for $12,50. Yet one to England the same size cost me $7.50? Makes no sense to me at all.

I suppose you sent them into Ziploc bags?
It's like the airline tickets. It's less expensive to fly out to Europe than flying inside the country.
I would suppose the lower price to the UK is simply because CP does not want you to send it with FedEx or UPS, so it's being competitive.
And, as it knowns that their prices are lower inside Canada, they just make sure they're a bit under.
As well, the infamous plastic device to determine if you envelope is a letter or a small parcel (the envelope must completely slide through the "winodow") really does not give the customer any leeway, considering how thin it is.
So you 4oz Ziploc busted the "window of opportunity" real good. Thus the insane price you paid.
It's like the tracking option. In Canada, small parcels automatically get it. Send it to the US, pricing is not too bad to get the option. Send it to Europe or elsewhere in the world, watch out; the price triples or quadruples!

Yes i have tried the envelope thing too. Seems to work going to the US for some reason. I guess it depends on the postal clerk. Cheaper to send 2 or 3 envelopes than 1 packet.
