NICE! Ally, wish I had one. That be a great place to smoke a pipe in the winter time instead of me having to walk out to the shop.
Looks great by the way, can't wait to see it after the renovation sir.

If only you could see the mess at this time, and nearly a full skip already, work has just started on breaking up the concrete slab on the conservatory floor with a jack hammer attached to the small digger and the sound is deafening at the moment.

    Pics to follow later.

A moment of sadness at this stage I guess, Ally.

When you've got the gear to do it, the job moves along much swifter than you will be able to look back on what used to be. You'll be proud as punch at the new look!

My nose is bothering me Ally.
I'm curious to know what made you decide to go ahead with building a new extension rather than keeping what looked to me to be a perfectly nice conservatory?

The old Conservatory's been up for over 20 yrs Crawford and seen better day's, the wood's started to rot and letting in lot's of draughts which in the Winter is no fun at times so it had to go I'm afraid.

Neil "the builder" has had problems getting the old foundations out, when this was first built specification for the foundations was 18" deep so he's had to bring in a slightly bigger machine with the power to pull them out.

Just waiting now on a new skip coming.

Machinery is a wonderful thing. Just imagine how hard construction work would have been 100 or so years ago. I'm sure that you'll be happy with it in the end.
