Indeed Shaun, don't fancy digging all this out by hand.

Busy day again today as Neil's going to order the concrete for tomorrow, below is the roof trusses.

Aye Ally, better to get rid of it then. You've had good use out of it.
You'll be looking forward to having a warm cosy howf for the winter.

Ah well they say you can't make an omelette without breaking eggs, the street was left without water for just over an hour until he managed to repair it, according to the plans no one knew this pipe was there, Whoopsie!!!

A minor inconvenience in the grand scheme of things..... Every project seems to have an "oops", just light up another bowl and continue.

I think my best one was the Contractor shutting off a whole hospital with HRH arriving in 1 hour to open a new ward and Paddy climbing out of the hole saying he was doing nothing more till he'd had breakfast; solution (as Project Manager) - " Get back down that f'ing trench and keep digging while I get you a flask of tea and a bacon butty". Funny they didn't teach that at College!

Whoopsie indeed! Oh well, on the upside if none of the housewives on your street knew your name, they know it now! Lol

That's what me and 2 of my sons do for a living. We all work on the water and sewer team at the local council. If it helps, pipes not marked on plans is a common occurrence here and having the water back on in an hour is pretty good time, sometimes it can take more than an hour just to find which valve turns the water off when nothing is marked on a plan.
