I cringe as I look at Middleton's Cherry and Mix 79. Those are the first two baccies I started on.

Well, per my father's very persuasive suggestion, one of the pull-tab Sobranie tins is going up today.

Aye Chris, very nice selections! Just curious, if they be sealed, why open the tin??

As an update to this post. Given new information has come to light, I will not be posting the Sobranie.

My Grandfather had these tins for who knows how many years, the tins I have opened did not have the sealing tape on them, and there is no way for me to prove they have never been opened. I'd rather open them up so I can check what is inside rather than to hope they had never been opened.

The tins that are air-sealed with either the pull-tabs, plastic wrap, or like the Medal of Honor, the packaging, I have left in their original state. The rest of the tins I have opened as a better safe than sorry deal.
