    Tudor rose

I won this pipe a couple of weeks ago on eBay. Unfortunately still haven't received it yet, the seller having wound up in hospital. I have no idea of the condition, other than this one photo. Pretty sure it's an astleys & I think it'll be a sound little pipe (Hopefully). It was cheap, so worth a punt.

I think that it is an Astley's Tudor Rose. Nice pipe! Hope that you get it soon.

I don't know who made it, but I really like the shape and rustication.

It is indeed an Astley (from WMTP).

    Really nice.

So a very nice pipe at what would be a very good price as well. 5*

I wonder who actually made the pipe As I read Charatan,s,Upshall,Dunhill & Ashton had produced pipes for Astley.I guess it depends on its age

Anybody & everybody would be my guess Paul. Don't forget John Redmond pipes, they were quite big in London too.
I've got pipes from quite a few of the old London tobacconists now. Inderwicks, F&T, Finlay's & now astleys. Wouldn't like to hazard a guess on any of them. A tough case to crack for the pipe detectives.

I like it! Hard to go wrong with an Astley's, no matter who made it.
