Neither can I. I have several of their old seconds like 'Sailor' and Bijou' and to me, they look flawless, and they smoke just as well as the Stanwells proper.
Stanwell went into voluntary liquidation in 2013 and now relegated to a postal address at the STG business headquarters in Søborg, a suburb of Copenhagen.
Sad, really.
(I did read somewhere that the Stantinis were shipped to Denmark for distribution and their high-end pipes were made at the STG factory in either Assens or Holstebro).
