    Stanwell 34

An old Reg. No. Stanwell, shape 34 by Sixten Ivarsson. I've seen maybe a half dozen of these being offered on ebay in the last seven years. Last week there was two; one an auction, one a BIN price, I went for the latter. The BIN pipe was in the better condition of the two, and at the end of the day the prices ended up the same. Just opened the box, pipe is in great shape, and like other old Stanwells, very light weight. I've been looking for an example of this shape for quite some time!

Congratulations dave! Perfectly described by Thomas I think, 3 shapes rolled into one. That'll be a cracker when it's cleaned up.

Good one, Dave! I think the blast fits the shape very well.

After all of the statistics and reports are finished with, I've come to the conclusion that the only real danger of smoking a pipe is being interrupted.

The blast is in good condition. The one that sold at auction for basically the same price, $55, was much more worn down from handling/buffing.

Interestingly, this pipe was sold twice. The first time for $150, but I guess things didn't work out, so it was then re-listed.
