    Congratulations with your find.
It's a beautiful pipe and a great smoker. I got the hand made version in a black sandblast.

Finished cleaning this pipe up over the Holiday. Not the greatest pictures (I need a new camera), but I'm happy with how it came out. I've smoked it twice so far, about to smoke it again!

Another Sixten shape 34 popped up a week ago on the bag. Having watched the $55 pipes talked about above (and nearly pulling the trigger on the BIN myself), I jumped on the trail since I too have been wanting to add one to the growing Stanwell stable. The seller (in Denmark of all places ) was not open to an offer (which I assure, would've been very respectable)...so I put a watch on it, and then put in a very late bid.

The shape 34 hounds must've been asleep at the wheel, because this one went off today for less than half of the 2 previous price tags. Add $12 for postage from Denmark and I still feel like a thief.

Joe, well done. Looking at the picture, I'm a little concerned about the stem/shank join, but it looks like it just might be a little "clocked". Be careful reaming it, the chamber tapers quite a bit from top to bottom. Give us a report when you have it in hand.

Dave, yep. The stem is indeed clocked a bit off; the pipe is shown from several angles in the listing. Thanks for the warning...I'm quite a careful reamer!

    How is yours smoking?
