Joe, I remember you mentioning elsewhere that this pipe isn't comfortable to clench. I think I see the problem. It looks like the stem may have straightened out a bit over time. Give it a little more bend so that the slot at the end of the stem is more or less on the same plane as the rim of the bowl and I think you'll find that it hangs much more naturally.

Nice pipe Joe, it would seem a prototype escaped the factory!

Good catch Anthony, I find the stem/bowl rim on the same plane makes for a much more natural clench.

Lovely looking oom Paul! Even with the 'dodgy' photos. I'd have to give that stem a tweak though.

That's only the second 4 dot Brigham I have ever seen. It is a shame that these pipes don't have a more broad reputation. Seems they switched from dotted "values" of their production to names like Algonquin, Klondike and Acadian etc. to Canadian-ize. Thanks for posting the pic Joe.

Interesting notes on the "four dot" Brigham. Should be more comfortable to smoke once you give it the ol' tweak treatment, Joe.

After all of the statistics and reports are finished with, I've come to the conclusion that the only real danger of smoking a pipe is being interrupted.

Thanks for posting the photos. I now just take them with my iPhone or iPad and they look great.

Let us hear how it goes with bending the stem. I would not yet trust myself to try so it will be really interesting to hear how somebody else does at it.
