    Loved watching you turn items commonly found in any home workshop into useful tools for finishing briar pipes. Thanks for the low-tech ways to make tools.

    For years, I wondered about the "mysterious process" that was used to turn a smooth briar pipe into a craggy piece of sculpture. Now I know just how simple the process is.

    Got a pipe that has some sand pits and fills? .....Rusticate it, stain it, buff it, into a work of art. I do it all the time on cheapo estate pipes. You can easily silk purse those sow's ear pipes, into beautiful things.

    After all of the statistics and reports are finished with, I've come to the conclusion that the only real danger of smoking a pipe is being interrupted.
