It is murder! Itís not that Iím even addicted to it, I just miss the pleasure that it provides on a daily basis. This is already my second time being sick this winter! Iíll try another pipe later today to see how it goes.

    <--better Ally?

My "taster" has been quite dull of late also, but this morning I managed to
make a perfect pressed pot of coffee and the Three Friars smoked flawlessly.

Nothing to do with a clean and rested cob.

Julie's mother has fallen and broken her hip - serious indeed for a 90 year old - lot's to sort out.

Good Afternoon, Friends! The granddaughter had to cancel her optometrist appointment and her mom had to take her to the family Dr. Poor girl has had an ear infection and has been sick for a week. And, of course, since my darling wife doesn't have to drive her to the optometrist, she's decided to use the opportunity to do house cleaning. Rats! I'll have to pitch in, too, but cunningly find a break in the work for a nap. Now relaxing in the workshop before then with a bowl of McC Matured VA #22 in the Don Carlos, a second mugga java on the side.

After all of the statistics and reports are finished with, I've come to the conclusion that the only real danger of smoking a pipe is being interrupted.

That is serious, Jim. My thoughts are with you, Julie, and her mother. I wish her good healing and recovery.
