Good Morning, Gentlemen, and Welcome to February! It's a warmer 38F/3.3C with rain showers on the way. I started the work day by cleaning a couple of pipes and it made me wonder: do some tobaccos smoke "dirtier" than others and leaving more gunk in the pipe? Hmmmmm. Nothing planned for the day, so if it's okay with the loving wife, I'd like to do more hobby work. I also have to make an aggravating phone call to the Veterans Administration and that's always good for a half-hour hold time. Now finishing up a bowl of Straight Grain Flake in the Pete Irish Harp 999, the mandatory first mug of coffee on the side.

After all of the statistics and reports are finished with, I've come to the conclusion that the only real danger of smoking a pipe is being interrupted.

Afternoon everyone, brown flake in a shamrock Canadian.
After last nights 'super blue moon' we've had blue sky & sunshine all day, so far.
A good start to the new month!

Another roaster of a day to welcome in the new month. January ended badly for me, it was hot, humid and a big black bee stung me.

One good thing happened, the first flower on my tobacco plants opened yesterday and it fooled me. I was certain they were going to be yellow but they are pink which according to the experts on a growing forum makes it Nicotiana Tabacum and not Rustica. Could be a Burley maybe? It'll be the usual Sayri twist for me today.

    Bee harassment. Shame.

Last night it was Brown Twist Sliced in my Irish Canadian. A classic Pete in that it took forever to really break in, but once it did it smokes as well as anything I've got.

And this morning's English Breakfast tea was accompanied by Ye Olde Signe (home stoved as always) in the Pipe Pub skater that I suspect is a Comoy of some kind. That's my story and I'm stickin' to it.

Assuring my St. Bruno membership in a Stanwell Tivoli. Cleaned up pretty
well for a fishing pipe that lived in a stream bag for over two decades.
