    Another GBD Pedigree

In the mail today. A GBD Pedigree 'The Pickwick' billiard (pre-1980). Looks like it will prove a decent smoker, at least I hope so. One never knows with GBDs, but I've been lucky thus far. Fire grain on the sides and birdseye front and back.

A classic GBD billiard, I'd say, and in beautiful shape, too. Congrats, Ed!

After all of the statistics and reports are finished with, I've come to the conclusion that the only real danger of smoking a pipe is being interrupted.

Thank you all for your comments. I need to swab it (as I always do with estates, no matter who sells it to me) with Wild Turkey 101 proof. I don't know that much about GBD nomenclature to understand the 'The Pickwick' line. Maybe they intended to name some pipes after many of Dickens's characters?
