Is it known which St. Bruno the tobacco was named after..?

I think it was named after St. Bruno of cologne, but I'm not sure. Ogdens named quite a few brands after saints, St. Julien, St. Ino for example. This is where we need MLC! You out there somewhere Troy?

Ouch, Paul, I really like that Parker. Any other pipes that I can "ooooo" and "aaaaahhhhh" over?

Haven't been to the pub since before Christmas.
I dawned to me I could knock off some "Public Service Hours"
by having a Guinness in honour of our house-bound brothers
    getting blitzed in the UK.

Many thanks Thomas, looks like we'll be housebound up here for a few more day's yet, it's that bad that in East Lothian where I live the car firm dealership Toyoto have decided to free up all their 4x4s tomorrow to take the Doctors and Nurses into hospital and those that are nightshift tonight to take home, much respect to them from me!

Good Evening, Gentlemen! Still chilly and raining here which is better than the weather in London right now. I just finished watching the Arsenal vs Manchester City match and it was freezing cold during the game and snowing at the end. The pitch has under-soil heating and it's a good thing or else it would be like playing on concrete. City really came on strong in an exciting first half scoring three goals, but the second half was simply a battle for possession of the ball. The final was City 3-0 Arsenal. Now for pipe and coffee time in the workshop. Currently smoking a bowl of Three Friars in the Sav rusticated billiard.

Funny you should say that, although my part of the world is really copping it at the moment, I've just come back from the pub myself. Couple of pints of Guinness went down a treat. It does help living only hundred yards away from the local on days like these. BTW, your mate in the middle. Is that not Ray liotta, the actor out of goodfellas?

St. Bruno in a shamrock Canadian, brandy to follow.

Really been missing my forum time these past few months. Iíve just been far too busy to keep up daily, even weekly. Should slow down sometime.

    Edward G Robinson pipe blend
    GLP Stonehenge Flake
American Tobacco 1980ís Vintage Bourbon Blend
    D&R VIP
    C&D Yorktown

mostly this last couple weeks. Various pipes, largely in a late 1960ís Kaywoodie Super Grain (with terrible grain), a Sketcher Doodler pot, a John cotton belge, or a Leonessa Briosa rusticated slight bent apple.

Just had a bowl of mixture 79 in that Kaywoodie Super Grain.

Never did make it to the pub.

As I was taking D#2 to work the temperature dipped below freezing, after
days of rain, making for hazardous conditions and the weather forecast
on the radio was calling for 6-9 inches of snow. Discretion seemed prudent.

Firmly ensconced now in the smoking room with GH&Co. Dark Flake u/s
carried in a Radice Rind, accompanied by beer, sour mash, leftover pizza
    and Doritos.
