    Good morning to you all.
    First smoke of this sunny Thursday; Red Orlik in a small Stanwell no. 147, designed by Jess Chonowitsch.
    Even though it's a sunny day, I can hear a foghorn blaring somewhere out on the water. Always liked that sound.

    Thanks very much, Simon. We do have the brandy and Aldi has the soda, so...

    Here's one in the eye for sherlockians, St. Bruno in a Parker Briar Bark.
    What a nice Holmes-head. "Here's pipe mud in your eye". Of course.
    Just the other day, I came across a second-hand book about Sherlock Holmes and his pipes;
    I didn't buy it then and now I can't remember where I found it.

    It's the great sandblasted Parker, right..? Lovely pipe.

    For SimonG: Not everybody has stopped buying pipes, even though the frequency has dropped.

    Mullingar‘s in an equally old PipeDan restored by Piffyr. If I survive, I will report on the tobacco. If I have not posted in a week, consider me a broken pipe.

    Lovely pipe mark!
    Did you have a sandblasted one as well?
