Rain gauge now showing 50mm....47mm more than the experts forecast.

Been checking the first leaves I harvested from the baccy plants...these are the lowest leaves which cure much lighter than the higher leaves but they're getting darker each day that passes. With it being so humid they are supple and are beginning to smell more like tobacco than lettuce. Smoking the Sayri and it's tasting great today.

Good Evening, Gentlemen! Up from an earlier nap after stuffing myself at Easter dinner. Great food and desserts! I won't have to eat again until sometime tomorrow. In the workshop smoking a bowl of DF in the Sav rusticated billiard, the last dregs of leftover coffee on the side.

Good evening! I'm back now from about seven hours visiting with mom and more than five hours on the road getting there and back, so I'm beat. I had a spot of dinner and am now taking some Fribourg & Treyer Wingate from a Savinelli Roma before bed.

    Good morning to you all.
Breakfast is served; a helping of Blue Capstan in my brand-new Børge Blume-Jensen Bulldog, bought at the pipe show last month.
A side order of strong, black coffee in my all-year-round Christmas mug.

I clean forgot yesterday that we have turned a new month, but it's still 2018, right..?
