    BBB Own Make Bent Billiard

A nice old BBB, I don't have any "before" pictures, because I've had the pipe for quite some time. When I did finally get around to it, it cleaned of very nicely. Has some dings on the bowl, but we like to call that "patina".

Looks great, Dave, and with a factory silver band, too!

Well done, Dave. A very nice, classic BBB.

I'm happy with the way it came out, it looks even better in person than in the pictures, the sterling is polished to a high shine. The only stain that touched the pipe was a very dilute touch up on the rim, which I debated doing, but it improved the color tone match with the rest of the stummel.

I don't know Bill, maybe 1960's? The aren't any date hallmarks on the band. Shape 304, from a circa 1960 BBB flyer,

This is one beautiful pipe, Dave, but it doesn't do my BBB soft spot any good.
    Now I want one similar.

"A pipe that can stand up to what a real outdoor man's idea of what a pipe should be." - From the ad in the post below. I just love the glowing descriptions of pipes in the advertising of the time.
