    Sasieni Canadian Question

I've been looking at this Sasieni Canadian for sale and checked pipephil.eu for more info as to the approximate date, but that's what I can't seem to figure out. Any guesses from Sasieni smokers? Here's a shot of the nomenclature:

    Family era, I'd say post-war to 1979.

Thanks, Dave! Now I'll have to watch and see if it stays on the shelf long enough until I can save up some money.

    Ain't he great Russ?
I don't own a sasieni Canadian, but if I saw one I'd buy it.
    St. Bruno simply satisfies!

I saw that one too, Russ. It's a good deal. You should pounce on it if you're interested.

This morning I fell over an Sasieni ad in All about pipes and pipe tobaccos. A handbook for tobacconists. publish by TOBACCO- 3/6 ( Cirka 1963)

Sasieni. The pipe with the blue spot. A blue spot on a pipe means - that it is made by Sasieni - and made by hand to a standard of craftsmanship and
finish unmatched in the world today. Because the percentage of pipes worthy of this trade mark is so small and the demand so great, we regret that it has never been possible to satisfy this demand, especially as we must give priority to the call for our products from the USA and other export markets.
