    Pibe Dan Chimney

My other pibe Dan arrived today & I'm over the moon with it. A slightly wider chamber than my other Dan & the stack 1/2" taller. This is now the biggest stack/chimney I have, though just like the othe Dan it's as light as a feather. Feels wonderfully balanced & easy to clench, looking forward to smoking it later. In very good condition, just a scorch mark on the left hand rim. I deduced from this the previous owner preferred a lighter over matches & was a 'Nordic left hander'. I think the shape no. is 62 & the pipe itself dates from 1956.
The stampings being, 62 1056. Hopefully Dave will chime in, if I've got that wrong.
Anyway here it is, a 'bonny wee stauner' of a stack! My new pride & joy.

I don't know, there might be something wrong with me, there probably is.
Just can't stop looking for chimneys!

It's a winner, Simon, congrats! Interesting blast and color, too. How do you re-light the bottom third of such a deep bowl?

    Hello Simon!

No offense intended, Simon. I was just kidding, of course, and I would never laugh at any member's pipe. Now, back to what matches you use...
