None taken Russ,, I was trying to have a laugh with you mate! Another attempt at humour on my part, falling flat..again. Lol
I use swan vesta Russ. 'Hundred matches in a box!'
The only problem I'm going to have is cleaning the bowl. My reamer won't go past the halfway mark, so I'll have look for something suitable.

Damn that thing could double as a tire iron. Just keeping in my latest mood of insulting your pipes. Nah, very nice blast on it and in good shape. Age your guess? It would be too much for me to smoke on any account not withstanding days available to do so.

Another great stack, Simon! Smoke it well. Any markings on the stem?

If not the first.. the second ones would fit.. in my only chimney the second is working perfectly.

I just wanted to be sure, Simon, because sometimes my attempts at humor fall flat, too. Try using a chimney sweeper's brush on the big boy.

After all of the statistics and reports are finished with, I've come to the conclusion that the only real danger of smoking a pipe is being interrupted.

Yes, I think I'll have to get one of those. A 'senior pipe reamer' we call those here.
Here's a couple of pipe Dan images from the Internet.

What looks like a 'bespoke' reamer for pipe Dan bowls.

And here's a sexy pipe cabinet! Very 'kitsch & 60s looking' I thought.

Ah, you mean a 'tyre' iron! Lol. I like that one, that'll be it's new name. Yes, I guessed the year to 1956 from the 62 1056 markings on the shank.

If you get fed up with it you can throw it my way seen as I was born in 1956. Far too big a bowl for my smoking style but I can always plant a marrow in it.
