If I thought there'd be a chance of weening you off the Falcons, I'd send it you today. Gladly.
Alas, the prospect of you abusing it with a vegetable means it stays in Hereford. Lo siento muchacho!

Thankyou Crawford, old bean. 'Happy Smokes' is the word with these Danish pipes. They don't smoke any better than what we're used to, but they're different. The difference in chamber size, stems, draw & looks all make for a different & fun smoke.

I know what you mean joe, no good as a tyre iron though.
I think the Danish pipe shop have or had one similar.

I'm very happy with mine. Seems to work best with conical bowls, though.

Here's a couple of pipe Dan images from the Internet.
What looks like a 'bespoke' reamer for pipe Dan bowls.
And here's a sexy pipe cabinet! Very 'kitsch & 60s looking' I thought.
The Danish Pipe Shop has this Gert Holbek for sale; unfortunately, I do not have the required 3000 kr.

Here's Pibe Dan's own reamer set. I bought one in the 80s, but I can't find it.

Here is the kitsch cabinet opened.

Sorry for the poor quality of the the pictures; I photographed them from the 1965-66 catalogue.

A pipe friend of mine just bought a huge collection of Pibe Dan pipes and two of those cabinets.
He deals in second-hand pipes and I'm sure the cabinets don't go cheap.

Thanks for posting a photo of the Dan reamers, Jesper. I've just seen a pibe Dan tool kit for sale, but the photo didn't show what it contained. Now I know.

You're most welcome, Simon. I'll go and search for mine; should I find it, you can have it, if you're interested.

On the subject of reaming, I just use the blade in my Rodgers Sheffield to ream my stacks. Works great.
