    The Malvern (Myhre Oslo)

Well, a crazy month of pipe buying continues. I've never seen so many great pipes coming up on the bay.
The shape of this pipe 'jumped out' at me, when I saw it. The name too, as Malvern is only a few miles down the road from me. I think it's a delightfully proportioned pipe, with a very old fashioned looking stem. It's only 4&3/4" in length, but with a sizeable bowl of 1&3/4". A quick clean up, as it was hardly smoked & here it is.

Never heard of the name before, but it's a London Made pipe. 134.

Myhre was a tobacco shop in Oslo owned by Gunnar Myhre. I think Dave (?) posted one with similar stamping a while back.

Congrats on your find, Simon! It looks as clean as they come, too. Let us know how it smokes.

After all of the statistics and reports are finished with, I've come to the conclusion that the only real danger of smoking a pipe is being interrupted.

Another great-looking pipe for the collection.

You must have more pipes to maintain than the local council water and sewage department.

Not to my taste Simon but enjoy.

They wouldn't dare bill, after it took so long to bake it & as we both know, we'll never have that recipe again. Oh no!

Very nice indeed even this. Never heard the maker before but through your buying there is a lot to learn.
