Thomas, please tell me where that pub is! I need to talk to the second girl from the left.
Evening chaps, a stout smoke to start the weekend. I'll be on the cider tonight.

What's in your pipe? June 2018

Ive now finished the BritWood part of the rotation and have landed at the cased pipes. Here is Krater-Plug in a BBB cutty Meer.

    I do like this tobacco

I'm very interested in that pipe, Mark. I had no idea that BBB made meer pipes.

It's in Cleveland, but not the one in England sadly. I will get her number for you though.

    Dear Mark!

    Nice pipe & nice shirt!

Always wanted to ask, what is the cork thing in the middle of the ashtray ? What is that for ?
    Best regards,

    Hello,

Plenty of rain and thunder elsewhere in Germany, but we were spared the thunder and only got light rain in the evening again. I'm on my last pipe of the day, which is the Work in Progress mix in Peterson Sterling Silver prince.

The WiP mix today got the last of my Hamborger Veermaster, the filler of several Sumatra cigarillos and the last of a jar of Dunhill Early Morning Pipe. As this was added to my total of 250g or so (an estimate) of WiP, the effect was as moderate as I hoped for, and the mix now has a light cigarish note to it, along with the light Latakia note. I left three ounces or so of the mix for the go-to jar and put in several coins of black pigtail as well.

As it wasn't pleasant enough in the shed anymore with this evening's humid and cold air (colder than previously anyway), I stayed in the house after supper. Reading forums and news, watching TV and doing whatever other unimportant things come to mind.

    Best wishes
    Markus
