    Me Ol' Bamboo

A very nice looking series of pipes from Blue Room Briars.

The Canadians are nice. Not much into bamboo though.

The black finish with black bamboo looks nice. I'd rather have an old bamboo-shanked Stanwell though, but that's just me.

Not my cup of tea, I'm afraid. Never really understood why there held in such high esteem. Bamboo for the pandas, I say.

It wasn't my cup of tea either until my good pipe restorer friend offered me the above Stanwell for £30 and that made me want to try it. It's a very good smoker and it weighs next to nothing.
Luckily we don't have any pandas around, but of course there's always Pius the Pipe Bane.

I'd always thought pandas ate the shoots..then leaves.

You’re right, first tender green shoots and then small leaves. But never stems.

If only it were a few grams lighter... Lovely pipes, especially that one.
