    Tilshead Liverpool

Just received my second tilshead, a Liverpool. A year or two ago they had a rusticated one, which I liked better.
I hesitated though & like a good bird on a Saturday night, in the morning she was gone. Very happy with this one though, now I've got it in my hand. Slightly larger than what I normally go for, but it's extremely light & rather a nice one, I think.

I was looking at all the Astley's they had on eBay yesterday, and decided to give them all a pass. But they certainly have a lot of nice looking pipes up at the moment.

    Congratulations on the pipe.

What a nice pipe, Simon. Congrats! The darker finish looks good on that shape.

After all of the statistics and reports are finished with, I've come to the conclusion that the only real danger of smoking a pipe is being interrupted.

I might have to try a stack if I could find one that nice.

Nice one, Simon. Congrats! There's no denying the Charatan DNA in that one...

Very fine pipe Simon. Yes, Barry Jones is a Charatan man. I have a Charatan shape 58 Newmarket and as Anthonys it is an English one, not one of
these Lanes the Americans always talking about- It is unsmoked and I do not think I will ever smoke it. The walls are thin and after I got new
teeths my draw have changed so I brun my pipes on the left side when breaking in.
Started on a Tilshead dublin this week, but it have tick walls so it will not burn fully up in near furture.

I like the pipe it's a classic for sure. I think the grain may be a lot better than the pic shows. Did the Canadian air force satchel come with?
