Limited Edition Squadron Leader with Perique

I just received an email from SP announcing this new blend from SG. Has anyone tried it yet? It sounds interesting. Here's the link:

After all of the statistics and reports are finished with, I've come to the conclusion that the only real danger of smoking a pipe is being interrupted.

I never did try that one, every time they run it I miss out. Even now, I'll miss it before it's gone for sure.

I remember it was a limited edition they ran a few years back. I wasn't interested then, not interested now, but only because it's got Latakia. I'll pass. I''m sure others feel differently and It'll be snatched up soon. If you're interested, better grab some.

Never tried it, but I can see Perique being a welcome addition to the blend.

If they replace the Lat with the Per, they might have something.

Side note, I seem to be having issues posting in some threads. Namely the what are you smoking and what's burning in your cob. I probably broke the latter.

I've still got a few tins I bought in Spain, a few years ago. Can't say if it's anything special as I still haven't got round to smoking it. I thought the initial release had something to do with the 'pipe club of Seville'?
    St. Bruno simply satisfies!

I'm a big fan of the regular blend but never manage to get my hands on the special edition perique version. it sells out too fast.

I had to come back to this thread to see who to lay the blame on when my six tins show up later today.
