That is indeed a nice tobacconist. I too have to go more than 160 km to get to a decent one, so I don't go. Strictly e-tailers for me.

Yes Steve I certainly wouldn't travel that far just for baccy. Online shopping isn't very competitive here especially once you add on postage costs. However I saw today someone is selling the Lakeland Dark 60 pesos a tin cheaper than I paid for it yesterday and if you buy 4 or more they offer free postage. I feel an order coming on...

With me being a tight fisted Scot I didn't get carried away Bill so ignored their malt whisky section altogether.
The Gawith blends in tins are about the same price as in the UK so they don't come cheap here. They do sell a few SG blends in 50gr pouches that cost two thirds the price of a tin so they're a pretty good deal. I buy FVF in pouch form.

Steady on ally, I don't think Crawford knows the pound notes he's got in his sporran, aren't accepted no more.

Aye it's easy for the fur coat and no knickers brigade out Edinburgh way to say splash the cash....especially when they don't have to pay over a 1 for a Kit Kat.
