Still haven't sliced into the plug yet. I think I'm having too much fun just looking at it. That's a beautiful piece of tobacco.

    * Please note that I wrote "apparent complexity". I think Revor can appear to be a very simple blend at the first introduction. It takes some familiarity with the blend before you start to pick up on all of the nuances. Overall, the tone of the tobacco is very dark, but there are a surprising number of bright notes in there if you pay attention.
I was actually a little disappointed when I got that plug. I was expecting a 500g slab of goodness and what I got was 4 slabs sliced length wise from the block. It was the first time I'd ever gotten a factory sealed plug in anything other than one big chunk. I just love a big old slab of mouthwatering baccy.

I'm going to have to get my Revor out soon. There's not much left and it's shoved way back in the cellar to resist temptation.

For those of us in the states, Revor is the unobtainium of the tobacco universe. Those savage Na'vi in the UK just roll around in it like it's nothing.

Last bowl of the day - very early dog walk and supermarket run the morn's morn.

Now smoking GH&Co Dark Flake unscented (2013) in a 50's Stanwell dedicated to DF/DP:

All this Dark Flake/Plug talk got the best of me. Hitting the deck now with GH Dark Plug 2015 in my Heinz 57 Pete, tea iced tea on the side.

Though a bald head is a sex symbol, I've done it for years because I refuse to pay for a haircut and think of the money I save on shampoo!

Deeply buried in my sub-conscience perhaps. Come to think of it, I have two Zippos with the Bald Eagle design. You might be on to something.
