Dark Plug 2015 vs. Dark Flake 2007. No contest, the DP beats it by miles. Much richer, deeper, flavor.

Wow! When most people talk about "catching some rays" they mean laying around in the sun.

I'm going to ignore the whole "cats are useless little creatures" conversation (guess you guys have never had mice) (or a cat purring contentedly on your lap) and report in:

Last night it was GH&Co Sliced Brown Twist in a pre-war Barling.

Followed by a post-Anthony Hardcastle filled with a new baccy to me- D&R Rimboche, a golden Va/Acadian Perique mix by Mark Ryan. It's seriously, deeply peppery but makes me crave another bowl as soon as I'm done with the one I'm smoking. If it doesn't sheathe its claws after some rest in the tin I may try mixing it with something but maybe not. Pretty interesting blend.

Good Evening, Gentlemen! It's clouded over making it seem less hot, but it's a trick. I'm on to Ohio weather, so I can't be fooled. I almost finished stripping the old conduit and cable from the deck and will get to the last part tomorrow. It took me days to get it all hooked up and minutes to tear it all out. And I get to do it all over again once the deck construction is completed. At least I won't have to dig another trench this time; I'll just run new conduit from where it comes up out of the ground and across the distance to where the new, shorter deck starts. I just need to check the electrical code on above-ground conduit. I smoked a bowl of Fillmore earlier and I'm about to light up a bowl of OGS in the Sav smooth billiard, a last mugga java on the side.

After all of the statistics and reports are finished with, I've come to the conclusion that the only real danger of smoking a pipe is being interrupted.

Hang in there Russ, it'll all be over soon and you'll get to reap the benefits.
