It doesn't! Chalk & cheese, Paul.
Dark Birdseye has strong similarities to the original Gallahers honeydew though. Albeit, not as strong, slow burning & without the honeydew flavour.
    St. Bruno simply satisfies!

As Ally said, it's approaching bed-o-clock.

What passes for insight tells me that I've been 'over-posting' this weekend (often used to happen when Sunday Pipes followed Plug Saturday), so it's time to ease the foot off the pedal. I'll leave you with:

Some highlights of (my) PSU Week:

    - Thomas’ shaved head

    - Loewe thread, week 2

    - Ally’s cat rant

    - Tom’s ‘curly-stemmed’ cob, and his ‘reverse-piss-take’

    - Thomas’ “punkugly”

    - Thomas’ Zippo pic

    - Sid’s café pics

    - Steve’s biplane pic

    - Ally’s skate pic

Good Evening to You All, Gentlemen! It's a solid 90°F/32.2°C and I've moved to the shade outside of the shed under a tree where I can get some cool breeze. We just had a quick, light shower move through and that didn't bother me as I'm well-covered, but a thunderstorm looks to be in the making. Congrats to France on winning the WC! It was a tough match and Croatia came on strong as they have done in the past, but the combination of set pieces and regular goal scoring did it for France as well as their defence keeping Croatia at bay. Good one, I'd say. Baseball tonight as we'll be watching the NY Yankees vs the Cleveland Indians game that I recorded to see who won the last game of the four-game series. Oh, Jesper, I opened up my remaining tin of fresh OGS and it was as dry as the other two. Dry, but not bone-dry and certainly good enough to smoke. I also opened up my last tin of HH Pure VA Flake and set it out in the sun for a few minutes on either side; that's what I'm smoking now in the Don Carlos with the usual later-day coffee close at hand.

After all of the statistics and reports are finished with, I've come to the conclusion that the only real danger of smoking a pipe is being interrupted.

Smoking a bowl of the fresh OGS and, although dry right out of the tin, there is a wee bit of moisture to it. To me, a lack of moisture changes the profile of a VA flake and seems to make it taste sharper although this is rather acceptable. I wonder what my next batch of 50g tins will be like.
