You're most welcome, Russ. I'm glad that you liked them. but the real thanks go to Jørgen, who provided the pipes; I just took the pictures.

    You're most welcome, Crawford.

That Orlik judge gives me the creeps though!!
He smokes a pipe, so he's a nice judge, but beware of the non-smoking ones.

Thanks for sharing, Jorgen, and thank for assisting, Jesper!
You're most welcome, Anthony. I'm not prone to feeling envious, but in the case of Jørgen's collection, I'd be more than happy to make an exception.

I think I will make a comment to the pipes.
First an ord. Orlik de Luxe L17. Next one I got almost unsmoked. It came in that Orlik box you can see on the other of Jespers trad about my pipes. Stamped Orlik over De Luxe and London over made. No shape number. It has a flat stringer stamped Orlik % London. It has a white O in the stem, not the brass one as we know. Its an older one pre war I think. Maybe one of these 5/6
    pipes. I love x/6 pipes.

Two Orlik with silver. I got them unsmoked and have smoked one.
Then two unsmoked Loewea. The long one should be from 1936 and the other from 1926.

Then a hand made dublin from Richard Martin, a Charatan 58 Newmarket and two of Mr Huybrechts cavaliers - all unsmoked.
The same with the BBB Monarch. It came in the beginning of the 60ties when BBBs Danish agent got permission to be named purveyor to His Majestry the King. Our king then Frederik was a big pipe smoker. The pipe has a diamond in the stem.

Drum Major is a Parker second and the Comoy extraordinare is unsmoked.

Jesper, you have a massive and most wonderful collection. Over the years, have you smoked them all, or just a proportion? If the latter, what criteria have you applied for picking out those to be smoked?

Chris, I do not know. Sometimes in the morning I take a cardboard box down and take the pipeboxes out on the table,
fill a smoked one and then say to myself - which one should you start on----------and most times before going to bed I will
put them all back in place.
And yesterday I bought a new peterson de luxe 02s from England. Its on its way Royal Mail says.
