    Pipe cleaner thickness?

Can you get different thicknesses of cotton pipe cleaners?
I bought a packet of 'Big Ben' branded pipe cleaners last time I was in Buenos Aires. They fitted all my other pipes no problem however when I went to run one through my new City de Luxe pipe I found it won't go in the mouthpiece end.

Yes. All the online shops here sell 'extra thin' cleaners. Supposed to be used for Falcons, funnily enough.
    St. Bruno simply satisfies!

If you can't find the Falcon cleaners that Simon mentions, just try a different brand. The wire gauge is usually a little different between them. I use BJ Long and I've run them through all sorts of pipes, including City de Luxe, without any problems as long as the airway isn't damaged or clogged with something.

I use the BJ Long "regular" size and they get into all of my pipes a well. I think they might be just right for your Falcon.

Thanks for the replies chaps....never knew they were different thicknesses.
Next time I go to Buenos Aires I shall take my pipe along and see if they fit before buying.
