Just my two cents here, If the house is cooled by a swamp cooler your pipes are probably not drying out either and they certainly need to.
If you have a garage it might be good to put your pipes in there for a drying time. If your in Arizona or a place with very low humidity I wouldn't leave them out there over night.
I'm in stinking Utah where it's about 19-21% humidity and it sucks, that's way too low, optimum is 40%. Might want to let your tobacco dry out there also but, keep a eye on it, don't want it too dry.
And as everyone has already told you, sip slow too keep heat down and this will help keep moisture from forming in the pipe.
