Just after 3.30pm and I'm having my first smoke of the day....St James Flake. Although the thermometer says 16c it feels much colder....overcast sky and wind from the south to blame.
Time for a hot coffee to heat me up...a dram would be nice but I don't have any.

    Hello,

First half of the day was sunny, the second one cloudy at still pretty warm temps, but I got home too late from work to make going to the shed worthwhile, given that I will have an unscheduled early start tomorrow. Starting work at 7.00 instead of 10.00 a.m. to step in for a colleague.

So there will be an early end to this day, but first I'm still smoking this army-mounted Savinelli Punto Oro billiard filled with the Work in Progress mix. Tomorrow at the latest I need to refill the go-to jar. I just might do it tonight after setting down this pipe in a few minutes.

    Best wishes
    Markus

I have a boatload of pipes to clean,
    probably a two day task.
SG BBF will be my companion,
    starting with the Comoy's #309S.

I only got one pipe cleaned today.

Got to be done, boys! It's great to see people meeting up, thanks to the forum.
If you're down my way, a warm welcome is guaranteed. Although I prefer to share my whisky 'online'. Lol

Dark clouds were moving very rapidly across the valley from West to East. I had to go outside and move my car, and of course got heavily rained on. So I had a shower, which is ok, even if it is only Thursday.

Smoking some Virginia mix in my just cleaned Brakner billiard.

Back home and just finished smoking Vincent Manil La Brumeuse Semois in a straight 2012 MM Pony Express cob. Rain and wind have been bad. The place I was going to had lost power. We had earlier, but it's back on now.
