    I see the same thing, Crawford. Could be a broken tenon, or possibly a glued in reverse tenon. I would have reservations too.

    Thanks Anthony. If I was into collecting Comoy's I might be tempted but I'm not really into buying a pipe that needs repaired Here's another picture of it.
