    A new Edward's and a Kaywoodie

I've only had one Edward's pipe and have just one Kaywoodie at present, but I had several KW in the 60s and I've good memories of them. So I decided to correct the present situation. I pulled the trigger on these two at Smokingpipes and hopefully they'll make it home later this week. I love billiards and expect these to smoke as good as they look to me. Of course, seller's photos.

Nice pipes! You can never go wrong with a classic straight billiard.

Good looking pipes, Ed! The one Kaywoodie that I have was a gift and it smokes like a champ.

Thanks guys. The absolute best KWs, I've learned, were made before 1945, but the ones that I've seen in estate sales are always too beaten up for my taste, for some reason. Does this mean that old time KW owners were not as careful taking care of their pipes as they should have? Or have I just been unlucky in my searches? A thought to ponder.

Actually, it is a smoked estate pipe with a 4.75 condition rating. The imperfections don't seem to be a bid deal here.

Can't go wrong with a billiard, Mr. Zeaward. Two nice ones you've got there.
