    Comoy's Extraordinaire 800 pot shape, from 1930s.

My bid winner pipe arrived today early in the morning via USPS. Weird - really early in this chilly morning. Had to slice open the parcel inside the mailbox as it was too large for the mailbox front.

Hard to believe that there were any Comoy smokers back in the 30s who were big enough to lug around this large piece of timber. Luckily for me I am a monster. I'm big too. My bidding opponents missed me by that much, as Maxwell used to say. They inched up to very close for comfort but miscalculated the time left. Saved by the clock I was. I don't think $190 with shipping is a bad deal for this puffer. I've got many Comoys but this is the biggest one yet.

I know who I am: Im the dude playing the dude disguised as another dude.

I like it, Ed - attractive for a big brute.

She be a lady friend, if thou must know, who I've known for many years. In her youth, I recall, she resembled Barbara Steele, at least in my mind. In her more advanced years, she still looks pretty good. The brute part is the one she likes best. I hate to share personal information of this kind, but since you asked so nicely...

Not a clencher. I'd wager that I'll be able to have an all day smoke with just one bowlful in this pipe.

Please, Ed - you can tell me anything, being a doc 'n'all

It's good to have friends, especially discerning lady friends.
