Chris,do you find Charatan stems oxidise quickly?I have 6 Charatan pipes and they seem the worst to oxidise. They are in the same cabinet as my Barlings pipes but go brown much more quickly.I had assumed it was because they were not deoxidised properly before I aquired them. But now I wonder.
Another lovely pipe by the way

    Thanks, Paul.

And yes, my Charatans and early Upshalls seem to be the worst offenders. Petersons much less so.

    Hello,

The workday was long but went by smoothly, and after dinner back home I'm sitting in the living-room enjoying to be on my own, smoking from the pound of 50+ tobaccos in a Peterson de Luxe 9s. We got some rain and a lot of mist today, giving us low visibility from the 8th floor of the workplace. It was one of the now frequent days of no daylight while at home, so I look forward for days getting longer again.

    Best wishes
    Markus
