I'll be smoking this when the clock strikes midnight EST, but I got a head start now: year 2015 MacBaren Virginia No. 1 in a black sand blasted straight 1998 XXX Ashton lovat with a black acrylic saddle stem. Watching Nero Wolfe.

At work again on a Saturday, but never mind.

Started off my smoking December with MacBaren HH Old Dark Fired Ready Rubbed in a Capitol author (the first briar I ever purchased). Coffee x 2.

Now smoking Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a late '80s, early 90s small bend medium brown smooth, unbranded Bjarne pot with a couple small rusticated spots, an amber colored acrylic ferrule and tapered stem in the military mount style. Reading one of my birthday presents, which is the latest biography of Bing Crosby.

Last smoke of the day is D&R Penhooker Silver in an early smooth Radice Tiger Eye G medium bend pipe with a bamboo-style carving on the shank with a black acrylic stem.

    Hello,

Early start for a Saturday by my standards. Helped with preperatiins for when relatives come to visit my mother in an hour and a half. Now I'm on standby awaiting further instructions.

So it's the G&H mix in a Peterson Kapruf 606s pot that im smoking. The clouds right now are still thin enough to let some hint of blue through, but from the afternoon onwards,it's going to be a rainy weekend.

    Best wishes

Good Saturday Morning, Gentlemen! It's 34°F/1.1°C, cloudy, and we'll have some rain today here in our neighborhood and it seems the sun has been avoiding our town for some time now. Our new landlord is coming by this afternoon and I'm wondering if he'll go for the idea of having him renovate the workshop. Nothing big, mind you, just insulation, new flooring, painted wallboard, new French doors, and maybe a couple of windows. I don't want to overwhelm him with requests on our first meeting. I started this first day of December with a bowl of HH Pure VA Flake and am currently smoking GLP's Fillmore VaPer in the BBB "Own Make Virgin", a first mug of coffee is tucked under my jacket.
