1961 "Ivarsson Product" Sandblast Pipe, Shape #19

It has just been delivered and I am delighted with it. For its history, please see Dave’s ‘Vintage “Warsson”’ thread in Pipes Forum 11-04-2018.

Dean has made a predictably great job of the restoration. Apart from the nomenclature pic, which is easier to see on the pre-resto version, all the photos are his.

By magnifying the stem photo, the previously mentioned minor damage to the top lip of the bit can be seen. I asked that this was not repaired as I consider it trivial and will not be selling-on the pipe, rather I will be smoking it – tonight!!

Also included is the catalogue sheet, found by Sleuth Dave, which confirms the shape number.

I paid £600 for this pipe and consider this to be a “steal”

Congrats Chris, may you have many happy smokes with it, when I was chatting to Dean earlier in the week he was saying the internell's of the pipe were immaculate after restoration and like brand new, you got a bargain.

Thanks, Ally! That confirms my earlier thought that this pipe had been very lightly smoked.

Congrats on the Ivarsson, Chris! A fine example, I'd say.

Thanks, Russ, I am very pleased with it and delighted to have it in hand.

It may be a rarity but It won't be an ornament!
