Sweet Pete, Chris! I've never seen a "flat grip" Peterson before.

Thanks, Russ, I have seen very few; but the combination of the comfortable clench of the flat stem and the P-lip works very well for me. It will be put to work as soon as it arrives!

That pipe is about the same age as me ..and it's in better shape! Very nice classic.

You did exceptionally well, there Chris!
Fantastic looking pipe, bet that'll become a favourite smoker.
    St. Bruno simply satisfies!

Thank you, Simon. I'm very pleased with the pipe and the price I paid.

My previous "Flat Grip" was a favourite workhorse, and I am sure this one will be too.

I might not be in love with my Peterson system standard pipe however I do like some of their other pipes. Been keeping my eye on this Galway which is for sale on a site here. Not so sure if it's worth 60 though...any thoughts?

Joe or Jorgen would probably give you the best advice, Crawford.

I have a few non-system Petes but I have never owned a "Galway". As a knee-jerk, it does sound a bit pricey for an estate, and can't really judge the condition from a single pic, but I know pipes are generally expensive where you are.

I also think it's overpriced....especially with me being so tight-fisted.

Glad you agree Jorgen. I have more desirable things to spend 60 on.
