new (to me) Charatan & Stanwell

Just acquired two somewhat similar looking estate Belge-like Dublins: a Stanwell 137 Royal Prince (Tom Eltang design), Danish-made, and a Charatan 2615X Belvedere, which I'm thinking is 3rd era, '61-'65, because the C penetrates the P and the etching reads 'London England.' Any guess on the age of the Stanwell? No registration.
    Very fond of both.

Interesting comparison of the shapes with different style stems. Very nice additions.

    Very nice Nathaniel...love them both.

Can't help you with the dating but http://www.pipephil.eu/logos/en/logo-stanwell.html may help if you aren't already aware of the site.

Two very nice pipes, I really like the 137 shape. What's the wood in the background? Looks like bamboo.

Good eye, Dave, it's the bamboo top to a standing desk I got a couple of months ago, and which I love.

A cracking pair of pipes! I think the photo is a great example of the difference between English & Danish pipes. Both superb smokers, I'm sure.
    St. Bruno simply satisfies!
