Well Sonia is in town all day today so I'm just relaxing in front of the telly with the main highlight later of France v Wales in the first of the six nations games this year, found one of those 16oz big daddy steaks in the freezer (thought there was none left) and me and the two boys will enjoy this later, smoking Charatan Flake in a Northern Briars.

    You spoil those boys, Ally!

I got back from meetings about an hour ago, to find the dining table set for eight like a 3* restaurant!!

Missus and D#2 are in town at the (very expensive!) hairdresser. She just phoned:

"Do NOT disturb the table setting!!............NO ash on the tablecloth!!!!! &c.....&c.........."

A man deserves a bit of peace when he gets in from work! Lol

    Just have, Ally!

Loving this FVF - no finer straight Va, IMO, although it could be argued that some are its equal.

I'll finish this bowl and then do a bit of cooking.

    Homebrew in a Parker:

I cracked the shank on this long Canadian the other night; no, not by pulling it apart hot, but by fumbling putting the stem back after a few tinctures.
    Glued up fine now.

Good morning. Moving van came yesterday with half of the household items that were quickly taken away 8 months ago, 1 more load to come. My wife dose not have enough to do, so she took a 6 week assignment as a long term teacher, starting Monday (not bad for a 75 year old lady). BCA in a Carey and coffee.

The Three Friars are going to clean a dozen pipes, cook breakfast
and press another pot of coffee for me.

    It's good to be king!
