    Blakemar's 'Sir Douglas'.

A bespoke shape for the fighter pilot Sir Douglas Bader. War hero & regular customer of blakemar briars. Reintroduced recently by Mike Billington. Although it looks like a lovat, it's not. A short shanked billiard with a saddle stem. All over this pipe I am, absolutely love it!

Mike now supplies boxes with his pipes! (Hurrah!) although you have to pay an extra three quid. Lol

Very fine Simon. Mike made me my first Sir D. pipe 19 years ago. De luxe quality, fine grain on one side - none on the other. I used to have it with me when I went to my house near the border in the summer. Smoked it when on my bike. It have got a very fine color over the years.
