    Tam O'Shanter

Here's an extremely rare sighting, a full tin of Ogdens Tam. In all the time I've spent trawling the net for old tins, never came across a full one. Pipestud had this one up for sale & as always, by the time I looked it was already sold. Anybody here remember smoking it? Would love to hear what it was like. I didn't even know it was made by Ogdens, till I saw the listing.

Very good, ally. 'The Favourite Dark Flake'....braw stuff, I'll bet.
BTW, can't help but notice the resemblance between Tam & your avatar. Minus the moustache, of course. Well, the pipes different too, but the hat looks the same. Lol. No offence!

Really? I thought I remember pluggers saying it was something to do with the Bay City Rollers! Talking of Chris, haven't seen him on here for awhile. Hope he's well.

I should have an empty one oz tin some where. I smoked what was in it about 40 years ago so I do not remember anything.

That's alright, jorgen. We'll let you off. They have a saying here, if you remember London in the 60's then you weren't really there.
I imagine it was the same in Copenhagen.

Seem to remember seeing this blend for sale in the shops when I was young.....which wasn't all that long ago.
