    I'll agree to that. The best rustificated pipes aren't worth the money you spend on them. If I spend anything over $500.00 I want to be able to see a beautiful birdseye along with a great shine . A smooth pipe just jumps out at me and shows the pipemakers heart and soul coming through in the fine briar.
